Alaleh Bazmi, MD
Dr. Bazmi earned her medical degree at Pécs University Medical School, Pécs Hungary. She served Internships in Internal Medicine at Tehran University Medical Center, Iran and through UCLA at Kern Medical Center and in Surgery through UC San Diego at Kern Medical Center. She is certified in Internal Medicine and completed her Residency through UCLA at Kern Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Physicians. She was a member of the Clinical Faculty of Internal Medicine at Kern Medical Center.
Kristin Brown, FNP-C
Kristin Brown earned her BSN from California State University Fresno, California in 1991. She worked as a nurse at Children’s Hospital of Orange County for seven years then continued her education earning her MSN with a Family Nurse Practitioner Degree at California State University, Dominguez Hills, California in 1999. Her specialties are health maintenance, diagnosis, disease prevention, treatment and management of common and episodic problems. She also has experience caring for chronically ill pediatric patients and high risk infants.
Romona Dolan, PA
Romona Dolan is a Physician Assistant who received her training at the Stanford University PA Program. Romona started her career in medicine as a Midwife but soon learned she wanted to treat the whole patient and fell in love with the internal medicine population. She practiced Acute Care for 15 years, working with hospitalists in both San Joaquin and Bakersfield Heart Hospital. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Lincy Maliyekkal, FNP-C
Lincy Maliyekkal, FNP-C, earned her MSN with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree at California State University Bakersfield in 2009. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and her background includes; experience in treating diabetic patients and working with infectious disease physicians in diagnosing and referring patients.
Deborah McDowell, FNP-C
Debbie McDowell earned her BSN in 1995 and her MSN with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree at California State University Bakersfield in 2001. She has practiced in Women’s Health, Rural Healthcare, Internal Medicine settings and specialized in Labor and Delivery. She is certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
John McGrath, FNP
John McGrath earned his BSN degree at California State University Bakersfield. He earned his RN Certification at Delaware Community College’s RN First Assistant Program in Media, Pennsylvania and went on to earn his NP Certification at San Jose State University in San Jose, California. His experience includes; working as a RN, NICU Nurse Specialist caring for ill neonates, providing family practice, OB/GYN, and occupational health services. He is certified with the National Certification board of Perioperative RN’s, the National Certification of RN First Assistants and a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners.
Parvez Memon, MD
Dr. Memon earned his medical degree at the University of Sind, Liaquat Medical College in Jamshoro, Pakistan. He served his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at St. Francis Medical Center- Trenton, New Jersey and completed his Geriatric Fellowship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center- Colton, California. Dr. Memon specializes in Internal and Geriatric Medicine and is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine-Geriatric Medicine.
Chan Park, MD
Dr. Chan Park earned his medical degree at the Loma Linda University, California. He served his Family Medicine Internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center- Upland, Pennsylvania and his Residency at Crozer-Keystone Family Practice- Springfield, Pennsylvania. He is certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been with GMA Healthcare Providers from its’ inception and enjoys caring for patients of all groups. Dr. Park speaks fluent Korean and is also proficient in Spanish. In his practice of medicine, he tries to adhere to the concept “to make man whole.”
John T. Young, MD
Dr. Young is a certified Family Physician who has been in practice in Bakersfield for over 30 years. He went to medical school at Northwestern University Chicago, Illinois and completed his Residency at Kern Medical Center. He received his Master in Counseling from California State University Bakersfield and his Master in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Young is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Family Practice.
