Alaleh Bazmi, MD
Alaleh Bazmi, MD, earned her medical degree from Pécs University Medical School, Pécs, Hungary. She served internships in internal medicine at Tehran University Medical Center and through UCLA at KMC, and in surgery through UC, San Diego at KMC. Her residency in internal medicine was completed at KMC. In addition to her private practice, she is a member of the clinical faculty of Internal Medicine at KMC.

Amol Kamboj, MD
Dr. Kamboj is a Board Certified Pediatric and Adult Allergist and Immunologist. Dr. Kamboj, a Valley native, received his B.A. in Biology from Pomona College in Claremont, CA, before attending medical school at the University of Toledo in Ohio. His pediatrics internship and residency were completed at Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC). Dr. Kamboj then served as Chief Resident for one year, where he was responsible for teaching and supervising residents and UCLA medical students. He then went on to complete his fellowship in pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology, also at Kaiser Permanente LAMC.

Parvez R. Memon, MD
Dr. Memon became a doctor in 1991. He completed his residency in Trenton, New Jersey and a fellowship in Geriatrics at Arrowhead Medical Center in Colton, California. Many of our patients know Dr. Memon from his position as Medical Director of Hospital Services for San Joaquin Valley Pulmonary from 2003 until 2010. In 2010, he became the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Care Center. Dr. Memon is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Patients find him to be kind, calm and thorough. His patients love his skill and his bedside manner.
Michael Oefelein, MD

Dr. Oefelein graduated Cum Laude with highest distinction in biochemical research from the University of Rochester. He completed medical school at Case Western Reserve University, area of concentration in Immunology. His surgical internship and residency were completed at Northwestern University, where he was resident instructor of the year. His urological surgical training was completed at Northwestern.
Prior to joining GMA Healthcare Providers, Dr. Oefelein served as an associate professor of Urology and Oncology at Case Western Reserve University and the Ireland Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Chan Park, MD
Dr. Park graduated from Loma Linda University in 1996 and finished his post graduate training at the Crozer-Keystone Family Practice Residency. He is board certified in family medicine and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been providing care to the patients of Kern County for the past 15 years. He served in the role as medical director for National Health Services, Inc. for two years before taking on the position as the chief of staff from 2003 through 2008. He has been with GMA Healthcare Providers from its inception and enjoys caring for patients of all age groups.
Dr. Park speaks fluent Korean and is also proficient in Spanish. In his practice of medicine, he tries to adhere to the concept “to make man whole”. He has gone on short term mission trips to Mexico and the Philippines. He is happily married with two children and his hobbies include golf and basketball.

Christine Yee, MD
Dr. Yee is a board certified pediatrician. She did her medical school at Louisiana State University and pediatric residency at University of Florida. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys providing the best care she can for all your children!
John T. Young, MD
Dr. Young is a board certified Family Physician who has been in practice in Bakersfield for over 30 years. He went to medical school at Northwestern University and completed his residency at Kern Medical Center. He teaches FP residents who rotate through his office. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Family Practice. To enhance “Health Through Wholeness” approach to healing, he received his Masters in counseling from CSUB and his Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
He was voted runner up as the Best Doctor/Medical Group in Kern, the Philosophy in Action Justice Award from Mercy Healthcare and a Paul Harris Fellow Award from Bakersfield Rotary.
He has been on numerous short term medical mission trips to Guatemala, and on other medical trips to Africa, Jamaica, and Mexico.
He enjoys playing tennis, bicycling, and traveling.

Pamela Caprioli, FNP PA-C
Pamela Caprioli, PA-C, FNP, earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University, Bakersfield. She earned her primary care associate certification from Stanford School of Medicine, with an emphasis on adult medicine, family practice, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology. As a family nurse practitioner, she has a special interest in patient education, preventive medicine and in helping to manage the care of chronically ill patients.

Romona Dolan, PA
Romona Dolan is a Physician Assistant who received her training at Stanford University PA Program. Romona started her Career in Medicine as a Midwife but soon learned she wanted to treat the whole patient and fell in love with the Internal Medicine Population. She has been practicing Acute Care for 15 years, rounding with Hospitalists in both San Joaquin and Heart Hospital. Romona came to GMA in 2012 and has been focused on our Skilled Nursing Patients ever since, as well as filling in at the Comprehensive Care Center when needed.
She loves arts and crafts and would love to be a full time artist one day.

Debbie McDowell, FNP
Debbie has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2001 and joined the GEMCare family in November 2013. Prior to that, she worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in labor and delivery. After receiving her Nurse Practitioner license she split her time between Women’s Health and Medical offices in Tipton and Pixley. During that time, she gained valuable experience with patients of all ages with a variety of health concerns. Her fifteen years of service as a Sexual Assault Response Team nurse, demonstrates her commitment to the community. Not only is she an excellent provider, she is one of the kindest, funniest people you will meet. When not with patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She is excited to get to know you and be with you in your journey towards your best health.
Debbie is currently working at the Comprehensive Care Center.
John McGrath, FNP
John McGrath is a family Nurse Practitioner who trained at San Jose State University. He has provided healthcare services with the group for over 10 years. He enjoys his grandchildren, camping, and fishing.

Dianne Young, FNP
Dianne Young is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Washington State University. She has a Masters in Public Administration from CSUB and a Masters in Nursing from UCLA. She has been on numerous medical missions to Guatemala, Africa, and other countries. She enjoys her 2 Dachshunds, and her flowers.
